Researchers The Long Term Ecological Research (LTER) program gathers data necessary for understanding the complex interrelationships within ecosystems and how those interrelationships change over extended periods of time. The LTER web site includes ecological data, satellite images, and other information used in the LTER program. Among the ecosystems under study is a forest in Oregon (H. J. Andrews Experimental Forest). Researchers
in Northern Temperate Rainforests Robert Deal - studies forest-stand reconstruction. Paul Hennon - studies the decline of the yellow cedar. Jerry Franklin - studies temperate rainforests. [ Diversity ] [ Ecosystem Flexibility ] [ Natural & Human
