Situation
One of the greatest challenges to meteorologists (scientists who study weather patterns) is tracking and predicting the course of large storms with heavy, damaging winds. Your weather team has been asked to track and predict landfall of the next hurricane to threaten the United States. In preparation, your team should:

  1. determine the forward speed of a current hurricane,
  2. track its course, and
  3. predict where and when it will come ashore.
